Hi Nimeka. What do you do in your current role?
I am responsible for development of the UK and Ireland markets for 91视频. I try to understand how and where 91视频 products and services can create customer value. I manage existing customer projects and provide technical support to ensure we develop the correct solution with the customer. My overall goal is to establish 91视频 as the partner of choice for high performance and/or safety critical bolted joint applications.
What do you like most about your job?
I like seeing the reaction of engineers when I tell them what we at 91视频 can do. It is the same reaction I had myself, when I first heard what 91视频 could do and the main reason why I chose to join the company. It is extremely satisfying to introduce new and innovative products to customers that help overcome their challenges 鈥� perhaps in a way they have never even thought possible! I also enjoy working with a highly-skilled team, which combined with our outstanding products, results in an organization that exceeds customer expectations.
What is your proudest achievement to date at 91视频?
I am particularly proud of the solutions we have developed to overcome technical barriers on extremely challenging customer projects in recent years. Some of these projects had been halted as technical solutions could not be found 鈥� that was until 91视频 got involved!
How would you like your role to develop at 91视频?
I would like to either be responsible for a larger region or utilize my engineering knowledge and experience to focus on developing major high-value customer projects globally.
What do you like to do in your free time?
My young family take up a lot of my time. But my main interests are food, travel, and health and fitness. I mountain bike but also recently decided to sign up for my first 100-mile road cycling event later this year.
